Last night, the first press event took place for this weekend’s huge clash between Vasyl Lomachenko and Teofimo Lopez. With the two answering questions from the media, the fight week build-up began to kick off. The press conference, which is available to watch in full on Top Rank’s YouTube channel, showed an incredibly calm and cold Lomachenko stare right through Lopez.

Following his win against Andrew Robinson at the weekend, one name was being talked about for Liam Williams’ next fight. Promoter Frank Warren has revealed that talks have begun for Williams to challenge Demetrious Andrade. The fight will see Andrade’s WBO middleweight title on the line as Williams is the mandatory challenger.
- Warren confirms Yarde vs Arthur date
Frank Warren also confirmed that Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur will feature on the same card as Tyson Fury’s return to UK soil. Scheduled for December the 5th at the Royal Albert Hall, the date is also the desired spot for Luke Campbell vs Ryan Garcia. Arthur will put his undefeated 17-0 record against the 20-1 Anthony Yarde who’s sole loss came to Sergey Kovalev.

Floyd Mayweather has boldly stated that Gervonta Davis vs Leo Santa Cruz could be the biggest PPV of the last few years. When talking about fans being allowed into the arena, Mayweather stated “Hopefully, we can get one million buys, even two million buys. Anything is possible,”. He went on to praise both men for their accomplishments and adding that this fight absolutely needs to have fans in the arena.
