As Devin Haney’s fight week begins, he said that Teofimo Lopez knows that he isn’t really undisputed without fighting him. Lopez responded in an interview with SiriusXM, saying that Haney isn’t even fighting C-list fighters yet and that the only thing he gains from beating Haney is bragging rights.

In the same interview, Teofimo was also asked about Deontay Wilder’s recent return video. Calling Wilder out for making excuses instead of focussing on himself, the undisputed champion said that Wilder “has had too much time on his hands”.

In the most recent reshuffle of the Ring Magazine pound-for-pound rankings, Scotland’s Josh Taylor has entered the top 10 in ninth place. He sits one place above Gennady Golovkin, behind the likes of Juan Estrada (8), Vasyl Lomachenko (7) and Teofimo Lopez (6).

  1. Gervonta Davis involved in hit-and-run collision 

Following his spectacular finish of Leo Santa Cruz at the weekend, Gervonta Davis was reportedly involved in a hit-and-run collision overnight. It has been claimed that Davis was at the wheel, ran a red light, collided with another car and then drove off, as reported by WJZ-CBS Baltimore.
