  1. Fury hits back at Wilder

After reports that Deontay Wilder’s team have initiated the ‘dispute resolution provision’ in their contract with Team Fury, ‘The Gypsy King’ had this to say on his former opponent. Speaking on This Morning, Fury explained that he’s worried about Wilder’s mental health due to him not accepting the loss. Fury also reached out a hand saying ‘I’m only a phone call away and if I can help in any way then I would give him the best advice I can.”.

In a video posted on social media, Floyd Mayweather has said that he’s coming back to Japan for ‘something big’, lined up for the Tokyo Dome in 2021. Mayweather competed at the Tokyo Dome on New Years Eve of 2018 in an exhibition match against Tenshin Nasukawa that lasted just 139 seconds.

  1. Mike Tyson talks Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder

In an interview with ESPN, the former heavyweight king has had his say on the current state of the division. Giving praise to Tyson Fury for being such an elusive boxer, ‘Iron’ Mike also gave advice to Wilder, telling him to ‘stop internalising stuff’ and fight again at the next opportunity for a world title.

  1. More Canelo fight updates

After Canelo Alvarez seemed to be in line to fight Caleb Plant in his next bout, the fight is now ‘dead’ according to multiple reports. As there wouldn’t be enough time to stage the fight with only six weeks until the proposed date, Eddie Hearn has now reportedly offered Canelo the chance to fight Callum Smith or John Ryder in December instead.
