Kazuto Ioka is set to defend his WBO super-flyweight title against 25-year old challenger Kosei Tanaka in Japan on New Years Eve. Tanaka has a record of 15-0 and will be looking to become a four-weight world champion in just his 16th pro fight.

After throwing in the towel in Deontay Wilder’s rematch with Tyson Fury, former head coach Mark Breland was removed from Team Wilder. After some time, Breland has responded on social media. Stating that he would never go back and forth with anybody, Breland claimed “I have never seen the things I’m seeing now in all of those years (in his own career). Breland also said he only got social media in order to respond.

Ahead of his own in-ring return, Tommy Fury gave his take on the heavyweight division in an interview with Press Box PR. Saying that AJ would be the easiest fight of Tyson Fury’s career, he also added that Deontay Wilder would have also “had his way with Joshua”. Currently 3-0 in his pro career, Tommy Fury is scheduled to compete against a currently unnamed opponent on this weekends card from the BT Sport studios.
